1. What is BeautySage?

BeautySage.com was founded by YouBeauty.com. It’s an online store selling only beauty and wellness products proven to deliver on their claims. How do we know? We put every product we sell through an intense vetting process that would make your high school chemistry teacher proud.

 

2. How do you choose your brands and products? 
At YouBeauty.com, we write about beauty every day, and review hundreds of products per month. Our seasoned beauty editors handpick the cream of the crop to be sold at BeautySage—the products that impress us, and have worked for us. The next big things in beauty.

 

3. How do you test your products to make sure they work? 
Beauty products claim to move mountains, but can they? That’s where our chemists come in. Led by industry expert Ni’Kita Wilson, our chemistry whizzes analyze label claims and the ingredients behind them, confirming in the scientific literature that these ingredients really deliver. They also analyze claims like organic, natural, vegan and paraben-free, making sure you get what you pay for. Our claims analysis is an ongoing process, and any product that's passed has a claims tab on its product page. If a product fails, it's removed from our offerings. 


5. Why should I become a member?

Registering to become a member allows you to receive special offers, samples and new product alerts from BeautySage, plus personalized product recommendations based on your personal science.

2. What are BeautySage’s hours of operation?

We are in the office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST Time, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), and look forward to assisting you with any questions, comments and concerns. 

 

3. What is BeautySage’s return policy?

BeautySage strongly believes in the products that are on our site, therefore we are happy to accept returns on any order within 30 days of receipt. We offer refund to the original credit card used to place the order or issue store credit. Please note shipping costs are not refunded (unless the return is the result of a BeautySage error).

 

4. How do I return an item?

If you’d like to return an item, please call us at 1.855.266.6871 or email us at service@beautysage.com. When the request has been processed, we will send you a Return Authorization Number to include with the merchandise being returned.  Once the merchandise has been received, we will credit the original credit card or issue store credit. Please note shipping costs are not refunded (unless the return is the result of a BeautySage error).

 

5. Who do I contact for product information or questions?

Our Customer Service team is fully trained and familiar with the products. We are always happy to hear from you and help answer questions or just provide our opinion!

 

6. How do I place an order?

To place an order online, simply select the items you’d like to purchase, add to cart and go through the “check out” process. Once the order has been submitted, you will receive an email confirmation.

 

7. What methods of payment are accepted?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

 

8. Do I have to register to place an order?

No, once you are ready to checkout, you have the option to checkout as a guest or enter your YouBeauty/BeautySage account information.

 

9. What if I forgot my password?

Already a member and forgot your password? Simply click on “forgot my password” on the login page found on the upper right side throughout the site.  You will be prompted to enter your email and reset instructions will be sent to the specified email address.

1. Are my transactions secure?

BeautySage uses industry standard SSL encryption (scrambling) to insure safe transmission of secure information. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

 

2. What do I do if I receive a Payment Processing Error?

Our customer service team will be happy to assist you with any errors that occur during payment processing.  Most issues are the result of our fraud protection service detecting a discrepancy in the billing address of the credit card and the billing address entered on the order.  Please make sure the information matches and, if it does and the error message continues to be generated, please contact our customer service team at 1.855.266.6871 or at service@beautysage.com.

 

 

Shipping & Tracking Information

 

 

1. When will my order ship?

Unless otherwise stated on the site, your order will ship within 1-3 days after the order has been placed.

 

2. Do you ship internationally?

We have partnered with MyUS.com to offer convenient, fast international shipping to more than 225 countries for our customers. MyUS.com members receive deeply discounted shipping rates, exceptional customer service, 24/7 online access to their account, and access to other services. 

 

3. What if I ordered an item that isn’t in stock?

If for some reason an item is no longer in stock, a BeautySage customer service representative will contact you to provide you with an updated ETA. 

 

4. Can I ship and bill to different addresses?

Yes, however there is a chance the verification process will take longer and the shipping may be slightly delayed.

 

5. What shipping method is used?

All orders are shipped using UPS or USPS. Once an order has shipped, an email will be sent with the item’s tracking information.
