Sara Happ

It all started with a lip scrub. In 2005, ESPN journalist—and card-carrying beauty junkie—Sara Happ couldn't find a product to solve her dry, flaky lip problem. After searching for a product that worked better than Vaseline and a baby toothbrush—the popular beauty editor solution at that time—Happ came up empty handed.

Not one to settle, she set out to create one herself. The resulting scrubs, a delicious blend of sugar, jojoba and grape seed oils—all made with ingredients she found at Whole Foods—was exactly what she was looking for. But rather than keep this sweet concoction for herself, Happ packaged them up, and went door-to-door to a handful of her favorite Los Angeles boutiques, and The Lip Scrub, by Sara Happ was born.

Three years later Happ proved she was no one-hit-wonder, launching what would soon become the next celebrity-coveted jewel in her budding beauty empire: The Lip Slip: One Luxe Balm. "My sole purpose was to create the greatest lip product imaginable. The world didn't need another lip balm. It needed the perfect one",” she says. Today, Sara Happ continues to corner the market on little lip and body luxuries, remaining committed to creating the most pampering and effective products possible.
