Carol's Daughter

Lisa Price’s mother Carol knows best. That’s because she inspired and encouraged her daughter to pursue her passion for beauty. Inspired by delicious recipes and irresistible smells, Lisa began whipping up products in her Brooklyn kitchen. They were an instant hit among her friends and family. In 1991, she finally created her own collection—and because of Lisa’s mother undying support throughout the process, Lisa named her line after her mother, dubbing it Carol’s Daughter.

Price's mission is to fulfill the beauty needs of all skin types and colors by creating high-quality hair, body and skincare products with natural and efficacious ingredients. What was once a handful of homespun fragrance oils, body butters and hair pomades is now head-to-toe beauty empire with a cult and celebrity following. Not bad for following a mother’s advice.
