How Do You Dew?

How to get a youth-enhancing dewy glow—without looking greasy!

Everyone loves the idea of fresh, luminous skin, but few dare go dewy in fear of looking like a total grease ball. So we recruited celebrity makeup artist Rose-Marie Swift to reveal the secret behind this most covetable look—since after two decades in the beauty biz, no one does a "natural" glow like her. And she swears it actually shaves years off your age. “Powder exaggerates lines and dryness,” says Rose-Marie. “The key to healthy youthful skin is first moisture, and then to create dewiness.”

With a step-by-step lesson and foolproof products listed below, even beauty beginners can dew it like a pro.

1. Beauty Oil
“Apply 2-3 drops on damp skin to give your skin a youthful, glowing base. This absorbs quickly and is very moisturizing with vitamin-rich oils.”

2. "Un" Cover-Up
“Dab this on areas that need a bit more coverage, like the chin, under the eyes and corners of the nose.  But remember, less is more!”

3. Lip 2 Cheek in Promise
“For a warm, pink flush, dab this on the lips and cheeks. For extra gloss, apply the Lip Shine in Bloom onto lips.”

4. Living Luminizer
“This is what gets you glowing! Apply with fingertips over the cheekbones, in the outer corner of eyes and the bow of the lip. You can also apply in the center of the eye lid, to really brighten and awaken eyes.”

5. Cream Eye Shadow in Lunar
"Apply minimally to a clean lid to give eyes a touch of frosted champagne radiance.
